JAZZIT AWARDS 2019: 4 cd among the 100 Greatest Jazz Albums
Among the 100 Greatest Jazz Albums selected by the editorial staff of Jazzit Magazine for the Jazzit Awards 2019, there are 4 CDs promoted in 2019 and early 2020 by this press office.
Three are beautiful productions by the italian label AlfaMusic: “Don’t call it justice” by Arcadia trio leaded by saxophone player Leonardo Radicchi with Ferdinando Romano and Giovanni Paolo Liguori, “Uneven” by pianist Stefania Tallini with Matteo Bortone and Gregory Hutchinson, “Piano 4 Hands” by pianists Cettina Donato and Stefania Tallini.
The other one, released by the label Jando Music in collaboration with Via Veneto Jazz, is “The Labyrinth Project” by Mexican drummer, composer and vocalist Israel Varela, a worldwide exponent of flamenco-jazz drumming. In the line-up, an all-stars band formed by Florian Weber and Alfredo Paixao, special guest Ben Wendel.
